Last week, we were delighted to host a French student teacher in the school. Her name is Cecile Lagrange. She arrived on Thursday 21st February and worked with us until Friday 1st March. On Monday and Thursday last week, she taught both P6/7 classes about the runaway Galette – a story that reminded us all of the Gingerbread Man. After telling us the story in French (with props,) we had a go at re-telling it in English! Cecile also told us a bit about where she is from and what the different regions in France are like. There are so many different phrases which mention food – especially bread!
Merci Cecile, et Bon Voyage! 🙂
