Scots Wha Hae

We were treated to a brilliant rendition of “Scots Wha Hae” from some of our chanter and bagpipe players on Tuesday afternoon.

As part of our topic on the Scottish Wars of Independence, we’ve looked at the folk music that it inspired.  The lyrics to this song were written by Robert Burns, hundreds of years after the days of Robert The Bruce.

The pupils were keen to perform this for their class – it was the first time they had performed in a group, and for more than their own family members.  They all did a fantastic job!
