On Monday, P6/7M had to work in small groups to figure out the French words for different countries and nationalities. Then they had to figure out the rule for saying in/to a country in French and try to describe how French nationality words change (and why.)
e.g.
en France – in/to France en Ecosse – in/to Scotland au pays de Galles – in/to Wales
allemand(e) – German espagnol(e) – Spanish gallois(e) – Welsh
